Co-designed by Roman Ibramkhalilov from the Ukrainian metal outfit JinJer, this Jackson Pro Series Signature model bears the aggressive sculpted horns of an MDK body and ultra-comfy, rounded neck heel plus the extended range of a baritone setup. The core of this fierce electric guitar is formed by a solid and resonant ash body and three-piece maple and wenge neck, which has been reinforced with graphite for good measure. The neck profile has also been customised to match Roman's grip, completing a super-slim carve finished with a clear coat of natural satin gloss. These details combine with the controlled playability of the 12 to 16 inch compound radiussed ebony fretboard; the even tension of the 27 inch scale length; and the light feel of the twenty-four stainless-steel jumbo frets to support fast and technical work, all the way from the headstock to the body.
Tonal Flexibility & Premium Details
The truss rod adjustment wheel has been heel-mounted, granting quick access if any action tweaks are required. Meanwhile, a pair of exclusive Roman-customised Jackson pickups take up the bridge and neck positions and dish out the kind of tone, articulation and flexibility that's demanded by metal and all of its many sub-genres. Flick through the wide-ranging voicings on offer via the fuss-free three-way switch and single volume pot. The fixed Gotoh 510-FX hard tail bridge guarantees near-endless sustain and reliable intonation and here, comes teamed up with a set of Jackson locking machine heads to keep the tuning as stable as it comes. For extra style points, the headstock has been reversed and given a 3x3 configuration.
