The Flag of Gorontalo is the official symbol representing the Province of Gorontalo in Indonesia. Adopted on August 13, 2004, it consists of a white field divided into three horizontal stripes with proportions 2:3:2. The upper and lower stripes bear five red stars each arranged in a semicircle, symbolizing the unity of the people of Gorontalo and Indonesia as a whole. The central stripe, which is blue, contains an image of a white crescent moon with a yellow star placed above it. This emblem represents Mount Tidore, one of the most sacred sites for the Gorontalo people. The design of the Flag of Gorontalo reflects the province's cultural heritage and historical ties to Indonesia.
